i'm going to use your applet, but I want to create a progress bar that will be updated during record, play, and upload.

the setTimer_RP function returns a string to be displayed. this is sort of a generic function because it is also used for upload which displays the % of upload completion.

is there any function or property that can give me the current elapsed time and the maximum time? this would make coding the progress bar easier without having to parse the setTimer_RP returned value.
