This has probably something to do with user rights management under Windows Vista? I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate X64. The test was done using Firefox 3.0.4

sorry for delayed response.
I reviewed the Java console content.
Applet finally loaded the library from audio module. So, it is not the bug, but success loading was done after a few attempts. Probably you reloaded web page with applet before it. Isn't it? How frequently it happens?

Hi, no problem. I appreciate your help.

In this particular case, the next time the applet is run, a file, jaudioMp3Win23.tar will be created. The next time a file jaudioMp3Win24.tar will be created etc. For each call of the applet an incremental file is created.

This error occurs only when the applet is already running in another browser window. For some reason it does not load the library which is already in use by the other applet (jaudioMp3Win.tar) but starts creating a new library.

The applet then works fine however, but it's not very nice to have so many temporary files.

- open 2 browser windows
- in one window surf to: http://vimas.com/mp3.php
- in the other window surf to a applet on a different URL

Now you see this appearing:
