Hello,

I bought you software earlier, and installed it on my PHP server and it did wrk well at that time.
now i tested it again and it is not working well, after recording the song it wont upload it to the server !!!
it gives me "Song could not b uploaded", although it did work a month ago.
and when i try to open a file from the server through VIMAS it gives me "failed to open file".

can any one help me in this ?

probably on your server something is changed. For instance, the permission to save files on your server was changed, therefore server script can not save audio file there.
Please, give me link to your web page with applet. I would like to check it.

i created it for you.

when i test it locally on my PC it works but on the sever it does not work.
i checked that the CHMOD for the folders are set to 777

and as i said before it was working well untill some time ago

Hi,

in your example on the http://www.digitracs.com/applet/recorder/song_recorder.html
applet is located on the http://www.digitracs.com server, but you make attempts to upload recorded song on the local server. It will not work.
You may upload songs on the same server where applet located.

So, please make corresponding changes in the following applet parameters. You should use www.digitracs.com instead of localhost.

BTW, download last build of song recording applet from: http://www.vimas.com/SongAppletSDK.zip
We fixed bug related to MIDI file processing.

my mistake
but as i said i made it for testing only.
on the main application they are set to Digitracs.com instead of localhost and it is not working.

and i set the testing to digitracs.com and it is still not working

please, download last version of Song Recording Applet SDK from http://www.vimas.com/SongAppletSDK.zip and use it. Note! There are new server script retrive_song.php. If it will not work again please contact me.

dear sir.

my problem is still going and i dont know what to do.
as i said before i cannot upload the recorded song or open one from the server.
the applet was working well before few months, and i checked with my hosting company and they said they did not changed any thing from their side.

and when i tried the new applet you've mentioned i gives me a message "cannot load module"

you got message "cannot load module" because you forgotten to put song_win_hash.txt file in the same folder with SongWin.tar. In your case this is http://www.digitracs.com/recorder/recorder/
I can check the uploading after "cannot load module" problem will be fixed.

good day

i have installed the latest version of the recording applet.
but after recording the voice and uploading it. it gives me the same error "song could not be uploaded" although it uploads it.
and when i try to open a file from the server it gives me the same error "failed to read file".

the only different thing that it uploads the song to the server but still gives me the same error. and can not open a file from the server.

I tested song recording applet on the
http://digitracs.com/recorder/recorder/song_recorder.html

It works properly. I opened music file from my computer, recorded the song and uploaded it to your server.
Then I downloaded this song file from your server and played back it. My file is 1.mp3. You can check it.
I saw, no music files on your server. Which music file did you used to record the song?
Send me your song file which you uploaded but could not playback. I will analise it. May be will give me some info to figure out what was happened.
